CARABAL´S WINES

CARABAL RASGO, a fruity and fun wine. It is a wine with lively and intense red and purple reflections, as a wine of its youth aging should. Strong scent and red fruit, berries and fruits of the forest, combined with a subtle memory of clean wood, obtained from its brief stay in oak barrels. Kind despite its intensity, it leaves a rich and intense final memory.

 

In this wine, both the label and the name, represent the «Outline» (Rasgos) of the land and the natural beauty of its region.

 

General characteristics: Red wine, aged from 3 to 5 months in French oak barrels, and blended with the varieties Tempranillo, and Syrah.

CARABAL CÁVEA, a powerful and elegant wine. A wine with strength, and lots of live, deep cherry red in color, with ruby colored reflexions and medium-high rim. It stands out for its complex aroma, where a subtle combination of the minerals of its land, red and black fruit scents and the fresh toast of oak barrels is achieved. With a discreet entrance in mouth it grows as it passes, standing out for its elegance and complexity. It is already perfectly balanced though it will get even better with its ageing in bottle.

 

The image of this wine represents Extremadura´s culture. The label is inspired by the map of the roman theater of Merida, and its name, Cavea, means bleachers in old Latin language.

 

General characteristics: Red wine, aged from 10 to 12 months in French oak barrels, and blended with the varieties Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo and Graciano

CARABAL GULAE, a complex and sophisticated wine. Beautiful deep red color with purple edges and high layer. Sweet scent of ripe cherry and blackberry. Behind, gradually appear creamy and confectionary notes. If at the nose is good, the best is at the stage of mouth. Huge entrance, tasty and rich. Great structure, with fruit notes and complexity. Creamy on the palate with tannins but softened.

 

Its image represents Extremadura cuisine. The label is inspired by the best Iberian ham in the world, cured in Extremadura. The name "Gulae" symbolizes the regional gastronomy culture.

 

General characteristics: Red wine, aged from 15 to 18 months in French oak barrels. Limited edition, only the best harvest years.
